Lamitex has also pursued the goal of publishing its first voluntary non-financial report, announcing its commitment and setting medium and long term objectives in line with the virtuous path taken by the company. It has chosen to engage in the creation of its own corporate forest in the world. An environmental and social project, which began with the planting of its first 100 trees of different forest and fruit species, such as cedar, Caribbean pine, mahogany, orange, lime, avocado and chicozapote. The growth of each tree will be tracked using CHLOE technology, which allows the GPS position of each plant to be known and growth to be monitored for three years with periodic photographic updates of the individual tree.
